One company that is about to move to new build premises at Wirral International Business is Regal Wholesale.

Regal, a discount wholesale supplier of branded household goods, toiletries and groceries is set to move into bespoke new build offices and warehousing designed to accommodate the company's ambitious growth strategy.

Currently based in Wallasey and established in Liverpool in 1984 it is set to move into a new 45,000 sq ft. building at Wirral International Business Park (WIBP) in Bromborough in early 2012 after working with local developer Redsun on a design that will double their current capacity and allow for the unloading of six large wagons every 15 minutes.

Chris Hughes, Managing Director of Regal said:

"The efficiency savings we will make are absolutely massive. I'm so excited about the move. It is the culmination of years of hard work and will enable us to take Regal onto the next level of trading. Doubling our storage capacity and significantly increasing the number of people we employ are two of the main benefits as we will be capable of handling so much more work in this new facility. By moving to WIBP we are able to secure the future of those jobs and the business for the next ten years."

"We've become a national and international distributor in the last few years as we've seen an increase in exports of British and Western brands to countries like Bulgaria, Malta, Cyprus, Italy and Ireland.  There are plenty of opportunities for growth in these markets but we won't be neglecting our local customers of which we have approximately 400 in Wirral alone, as we will also have a brand new showroom in the new facility to really showcase all we offer.  These are definitely exciting times for Regal and to think we started off in a Liverpool side street selling toilet roll!"

Regal have been supported in their move by Wirral Council's business support team Invest Wirral and Developer Redsun received funding from the Northwest Regional Development Agency to help finance the development at Ferryview Road, WIBP.
